INSTAGRAM CONTEST RULES
OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF
WINNING A PRIZE.
1)
HOW
TO ENTER: An Instagram account is required to enter (accounts
are free). Comment on the Instagram
Post, Tag a Friend, and Follow @IslandsBurgers. You can unfollow @IslandsBurgers once the
promotion period and the notification period has ended. You can enter as many
times as you want, but need to tag different friends separately to do so.
PRIZES: Two (2) Islands Fine Burgers &
Drinks Complimentary Cards, each valued at $520. Total approximate retail value
$1,040. Each Complimentary Card will be reloaded with funds during the one-year
period following activation, in periodic increments determined at Islands’
discretion until the full prize value is achieved. Winning tag friend team will be randomly selected by Islands in
its sole discretion from among all eligible entries received during the
Promotion Period. Odds
of winning will depend on the number of entries received.
1. The
Complimentary Card will be valid at any Islands restaurant location.
2. The Complimentary
Card cannot be used for alcohol or gratuity.
3. The Complimentary
Card will expire one year from activation.
4. Prize cannot be substituted, sold, transferred to a third
party or redeemed for cash value, and will not be replaced if lost or
stolen
2) GENERAL INFORMATION:
1. The Promotion begins Friday, January 24th, 2014 at 9 A.M. and will end at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 28th, 2014 (Pacific Time). ISLANDS RESTAURANTS, L.P. (“Islands”) is
the official timekeeper.
2. You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the legal age of
majority in your state to enter, and you must be a legal resident of the fifty
(50) United States or Washington, DC.
3. Winning Tag-A-Friend team will be randomly selected.
4. The winners will be notified via Instagram on Tuesday, January 28th, 2014.
5. The Contest is solely sponsored by Islands. The
Contest is not sponsored, administered or endorsed by INSTAGRAM, FACEBOOK, or
TWITTER (the “Media Entities”). Void
where prohibited.

PARTICIPANTS: By your participation in
the Promotion, you agree to be bound by all rules related to the Promotion, and
you agree to indemnify the Media Entities and Islands, its
affiliates, partners, directors, officers and employees, and hold
them harmless from any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys' fees,
arising from the Photo and/or your failure to comply with these rules.

RESTRICTIONS:
5. Employees,
officers, and directors (including immediate family members, spouses, parents,
children, siblings, and their respective spouses) of Islands are not eligible
to participate in the contest.
6. To be
eligible, entry must not be obscene, indecent, or otherwise offensive (as
determined by Islands); must not defame or invade the publicity or privacy
rights of any person, living or deceased; infringe, violate or misappropriate
any person’s or entity’s personal or proprietary rights; be owned by a
third-party and/or be subject to any restriction or right that would in any way
limit Islands’ right to use the entry as permitted under these Contest Rules;
and must adhere to the Instagram Terms of Use set forth at
http://instagram.com/about/legal/terms/.
7. Failure
to comply with these rules, as determined by Islands in its sole discretion, is
grounds for automatic disqualification from the contest. Islands reserves the right at its sole
discretion to disqualify any individual suspected of tampering with the entry
process or the operation of the contest.
8. The
contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and
regulations. ANY ATTEMPT BY A USER OR ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER
INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE
OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND
SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND
COSTS (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO
THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
5) NOTIFICATION: The potential
winners will be notified via Instagram on or before Tuesday, January 28th,
2014. Each
winner will be required to privately provide his or her name, address, age, and
other personal information necessary to receive the Prize. Each potential winner may be required to
verify ownership of the winning Instagram account. Each potential winner must respond to Islands
within two (2) days of being declared a potential winner. Failure to respond within the two (2) day
notification period may result in the potential winner being disqualified and
an alternate winner randomly selected.
